Germanys plans to restart competitive football suffered an early setback after second tier club Dynamo Dresden put the entire team into a two-week quarantine.
Dresden, who sit at the bottom of Bundesliga 2 said tests taken on Friday had revealed two new positive cases. The club added that local health authorities had ordered the team into quarantine.
Dresden were scheduled to play Hannover on the 17th of May. The Bundesliga announced this week that it would restart on May the 16th after being given the green light by the government.
The league has been on hold since mid-March because of the pandemic.
